Markuh Castle is located in Ramsar town, in the route to Talarsar and was registered as one of Iran’s national relics. Markuh is a historical castle which its origin goes back to the pre- Islamic eras. It used to be a strategic castle and had a military use. From the top levels of this place it overlooks everywhere from north to the sea, from east to Tonekabon, from west to Ramsar, and from south to Alborz Mountains.
