Khor Ski resort was founded on pre- revolutionary era at the foot of a mountain which is 2800 meters above sea level at its highest point near a historical village. There are multiple recreational facilities for various sports. Mammals such as leopard, wild cat, brown bear, wolf, boar, wild goat and birds such as golden eagle and vulture inhabit the region.
