Hablerud River is the only permanent river in warm and desert province of Semnan, which originates from the Alborz mountains. Hablerud River is the result of joining two rivers by the names of Gadouk and Namrud. The Hablerud River in Garmsar has a length of about 240 kilometers and an annual discharge of 250 to 270 million cubic meters.
