The water source of this permanent waterfall is melting snows of the Kashchal Mountains in the heights of Eshkavar Oliya. After flowing for a distance, it cascades from a rock onto another, and then forms numerous other waterfalls, thus flowing into the depth of the Eshkavar Oliya Valley; so it is also known as Dahqolu.
