This museum shows the techniques and tools used in Iranin creating underground waterways called “Qanat” and connecting them to both the city and agricultural fields. Two Qanats are passing beneath the museum which can be reached through a special stairways called “Payab”. The building itself is a historical house called “Kolahdouz House” that had been constructed in Qajar era.
