The ski resort Sahand is in 39 km south-east of Tabriz city, on the north side of Sahand mountains.

For skiing and snowboarding, there are 3 km of slopes available, 4 lifts transport the guests.

There is a ski school, two 1200 m surface lifts for intermediate users and two 100 m surface lifts for beginners.
