Qasr Prison was built during Pahlavid period in Tehran by a Russian architect. It consists of 192 rooms and has a capacity of 700 prisoners. The architecture of this prison is in a way to suffer prisoners as it is too hot in summers and too cold in winters. Qasr Garden-Museum was first a castle created by the order of Fathali Shah of Qajar, and after 130 years, the first prison of Tehran was formed on the foundation of Qajar palace.
