Natanz, the central historic garden city in Iran, is located in Isfahan province, between Isfahan and Kashan, on the foot of Karkas Mountains. Natanz means a place with pleasant climate in Pahlavi language. It is well-known in Iran for its bracing climate and locally produced fruit, specially its pear fruits.
