Maqbarat-o-Shoara or The Tomb of Poets, also known as Sorkhab poets’ tombs, is one of the historic cemeteries of Tabriz city. This cemetery holds 410 poets and philosophers of Iran which is the only one of its kind in the entire world. Many famous poets such as Khaghani, Asadi Tusi, Qatran Tabrizi, Shahriyar and etc. are buried here. The spectacular design of this memorial building depict books in different sizes.
