Hashilan Wetland is located 31 km northwest of Kermanshah in Allahyar Khani Rural district on the slopes of Khorin and Veis mountains and it is one of the most beautiful and unique tourist regions of Kermanshah. A large number of snakes, especially water snakes, different fish species and wolf, fox, rabbit and wild cat can be found in the water and highlands of the region. Birds such as gray goose, flamingo, pelican, swan, eagle and owl live in and around the wetland.
