Darband, is located at the start of the hiking trail (or chairlift if hiking doesn’t interest you) up to Mount Tochal, which towers over Tehran and contains several popular ski resorts. Mountaineer’s statue, located in Sarband Square, is one of the symbols of Tehran and the most famous point of Darband. Mountainous area, beautiful river across valley, small and large restaurant, Dogholoo Fall (literally meaning Twin Fall) and so on, are other attractions of this beautiful region in capital of Iran.
