Bisotun, a centuries-old historical site, is located in the western Iranian province of Kermanshah. Its multi-lingual inscriptions have been crucial to the decipherment of cuneiform script. Almost a decade ago, the historical site made it onto the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
