This lagoon which is the source of more than 200 plant species, more than 140 bird species and 40 animal species and different kinds of fish. Bamdej Lagoon is one of the fresh water habitats that contains two habitats of flowing seasonal fresh water and still water because Shavoor River is flowing between the areas and has become like a natural drain in the form of a channel with a 5 meters width, a 9 kilometers length and a 4 meters depth.
